Some Nigerians have slammed Comedian Seyi Law over a social media post criticising Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, for his stance on the tax bill.
Henzodaily reports that Zulum had featured on Sunday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he addressed the tax reform bill.
Zulum insisted that if the tax bills, currently undergoing review before the House of Representatives, are passed into law, only Lagos and Rivers state will benefit.
Reacting on X, Seyi Law, a Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment & Tourism to the Ondo State governor, slammed Zulum, saying, “You want to hold the SW to ransom because of a tax bill?! These people too funny. All their degrees have been thrown in the garbage while trying to defend their elites. Zulum sef dey zuzu.”
In response, an X user berated Seyi Law, as he wrote, “If you are sacked now & you go back to cracking dry jantofubu jokes and disturbing Seyi Tinubu’s precious moments on WhatsApp with your empty ideas, you will say your governor is wicked because how are you his mouth piece & talking about another governor like this?”
Seyi Law hit back at the X user, “Your head is as big as Ekenedilichukwu yet devoid of a functioning brain”
Joining the conversation, other X users made a mockery of Seyi’s comedy career.
