Southampton manager Ivan Juric has showered encomium on Paul Onuachu after the forward bagged the winning goal in the club’s 2-1 win at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The win was Southampton’s second in the Premier League this season
The striker’s compatriot Joe Aribo gave the visitors the lead early in the game.
The Saints were however pegged back by Liam Delap’s equaliser on the half-hour mark.

Onuachu then scored the winning goal two minutes from time.
Substitute Suleiman Kamaldeen hit a 20-yard shot that was parried by goalkeeper Arijanet Muric into his path and he wasted no time in smashing the ball into the net.
It was the Nigeria international’s second goal of the campaign.
Juric said the former Genk hitman deserved the goal.
“It was a great moment. He [Onuachu] deserved it because he really worked hard, it’s his second goal, I think he can score more, but he really worked hard for the team,” he told the club’s official website.
