Stan Alieke, the legal representative of Speed Darlington, has severed ties with the controversial Nigerian singer.
TheNewsGuru reports that the controversial singer was arrested on November 27 while performing at a show in Owerri, Imo State, over allegations of cyberstalking Grammy award-winning musician Burna Boy.
The singer’s detention comes after his colleague Burna Boy filed a petition against him, for using social media to question the authenticity of his Grammy award, linking the A-list artiste to embattled music mogul Sean Combs, known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy.
He suggested that Burna Boy may have had a sexual relationship with the American music executive.
The case has since been in court, with Darlington only regaining freedom on January 21 2025, after his prolonged detention.
Alike, an Abuja-based lawyer, was of the lawyers representing Speed Darling in his legal battle with singer, BurnaBoy.
However, in a new turn of event, the lawyer announced the termination of his work with Speed Darlington via his Instatories on Sunday night.
The post reads: “I and my law firm (Law Capitol) has officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr Darlingtn Achakpo AKA, Speed Darlington and henceforth ceases to act as his legal attorneys.”
