‘We all make mistakes’ — Nigerian woman beaten mercilessly by her husband defends act

A Nigerian woman, identified as Kagbaranee Imeah who was assaulted by her husband  has spoken up in his defense.

It would be recalled that Imeah via her Facebook post on Thursday claimed her husband brutalized her for wearing a singlet to drop off their children at school.

Her post sparked outrage, with many calling for his arrest.

However, in a new viral video, Kagbaranee defended her husband, arguing that what happened was because she disobeyed his orders.

She also said she “does not regret marrying” her husband and would not want any “harm” to come his way due to the issue.

She said, “I have looked inward and found that the pain of disrespecting and working against my husband’s order was what led to what he did to me. He has never done anything like this since we got married. After the incident, he has taken me to Central Government Hospital in Warri for proper medical checkup and treatment.

“My sight is perfectly in order. I do not regret marrying my husband. He never wanted to harm me and I also do not want any harm to come to him because of this issue. I order that no one, organisations, bloggers or individuals should harm or stress my lovely husband on this issue.

“I will always stand by him forever and see God’s purpose for our family. There is no perfection anywhere. We all make mistakes. Please stop. I am at peace with my husband. As you can see, my eyes are getting better. I don’t need any harm to my husband because of this issue.”
