UCL: Arsenal Outclass Dinamo Zagreb As Man City Face Elimination After 4-2 Loss To PSG

Arsenal gave their hopes of automatic qualification a big boost with a 3-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

The Gunners took the lead against Dinamo just two minutes on the clock courtesy Declan Rice.

In the 66th minute Kai Havertz, who had set up Rice for the opener made it 2-0.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard then added the third goal in the 91st minute.

Mikel Arteta’s men move up to third spot on 16 points in the 36-team league table.

In France, Manchester City suffered a dramatic 4-2 defeat away defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

Two quick goals from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland on 50 and 53 minutes respectively put City 2-0 ahead.

Ousmane Dembele pulled a goal back for PSG in the 56th minute before Bradley Barcola made it 2-2 in the 60th minute.

In the 79th minute PSG completed the comeback as Joao Neves put them 3-2 ahead.

Goncalo Ramos then added the fourth goal for PSG on 96 minutes.

Ramos’ goal was initially ruled out for offiside but was eventually given after consultation with VAR.

The defeat leaves City in 25th place on eight points, which is outside of both the knockout round and play-off qualification spots.

For the Ligue 1 champions, they are currently in 22nd place on 10 points.

Other matchday 7 games saw Feyenoord trounce Bayern Munich 3-0, Real Madrid hammered RB Salzburg 5-1 and AC Milan pipped Girona 1-0.

Also, RB Leipzig edged out Sporting Lisbon 2-1, Shakhtar Donetsk beat Brest 2-0, Sparta Prague lost 1-0 to Inter and Celtic beat Young Boys 1-0.
