Plateau United Increase Gate Fees Ahead League Second Stanza

Plateau United have announced an increase in gate fees ahead of the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The club, in a statement said fans will now pay N200 as against N100.

“This is to formally communicate an upward review on our Match Day gate takings heading into the second stanza of NPFL25,” the club stated.

“Fans are to note that effective from Match Day 20, when Plateau United face Rivers United in Jos, gate taking passes will now cost two hundred Naira only (200) as against the old rates.

“Management sincerely appreciates your anticipated cooperation as well as apologises for any inconvenience caused as a result.”

Meanwhile, Plateau United are in the relegation zone as they currently occupy 17th spot on 20 points after 19 games played.

The club would hope to get their campaign back on track when they host second-placed Rivers United on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Remo Stars, on 36 point, top the standing just two points ahead of Rivers and three points off Shooting Stars who are third.
