Playing For The Super Eagles Gives Me Great Joy –Aina

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has expressed great joy in playing for the senior national team.

The Nottingham Forest star, who is expected to be on the starting line up against Liverpool in tonight’s Premier League clash, stated this in an interview with NBC.

He noted that he enjoyed playing in front of the Nigerian fans regardless of the pressure that comes with it.

“It means a lot. It’s a big honor to play for the Super Eagles. Every time I put the jersey or t-shirt on, it’s a great feeling — one that can’t really be matched.

“It’s really nice. I love playing for Nigeria, and hopefully, I can keep on playing for Nigeria for many more years.

It’s actually going to Nigeria and playing there in front of the fans. It’s fun and I really enjoy it.”

He also said that Nottingham Forest can dare to dream of fighting for the Premier League title and also qualify for next season’s Champions League.

I think the key to our success so far has been sticking to the plan, working hard for each other, and believing in each other.

“We like to dream and we’re working hard for a dream that’s attainable. Hopefully, we can continue the hard work and the belief, and long may the success continue.”
