Senator Katung To Construct 30 Boreholes In Kaduna

The senator representing Kaduna South senatorial district in the 10th Assembly, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, has initiated a project to construct 30 boreholes, including solar-powered ones, across communities in the senatorial district.

As part of this effort, Katung sent a delegation led by Hon Francis Sani Zimbo, former executive chairman of the Zango-Kataf local government area, to Afana Bajju, one of the beneficiary communities, for an on-site assessment.

The senator’s senior legislative aide revealed this information during an exclusive interview, stating, “The contract has been awarded, and we’re now identifying communities and assessing construction sites.”

Kayit, former national youth leader of the Bajju Development Association praised Senator Katung’s initiative, saying, “Special thanks to distinguished Sen. Katung for sending a delegation for on-site verification. They saw the need firsthand. Mun gode.”

This project aligns with Senator Katung’s commitment to community development, having previously served as commissioner of water resources and finance in Kaduna State.
