Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu claimed it will be risky for the Black Galaxies to adopt a defensive approach in the second leg of their 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria.
The perennial rivals played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The reverse fixture is slated for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.

Agyemang-Badu said it is important for the team to adopt an attacking approach in the second leg.
“We should be very careful not to go and defend,” he said reported by Joy Sports.
“This is only one game and when you lose, you are not going anywhere. We can’t do that [lose] because mind you, we didn’t qualify for the [2025] Africa Cup of Nations.
“If the CHAN too, we don’t qualify then there will be a little bit of disaster so we will support them, pray them, they [Galaxies] should go all out and win the game for us in the return leg,”
