Mohamed Salah was the standout performer as he bagged a brace and also provided two assists, in Liverpool’s 6-3 win at Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Salah is now the first player ever to reach double figures for goals and assists before Christmas.
Also he is the first player since the competition began in 1992 to produce 10+ goals and 10+ assists in four consecutive seasons.
The Egyptian star scored his 14th and 15th goals of the Premier League campaign, putting him two clear of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who has scored only three times in his last 12 appearances.
Having also assisted goals for Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz on Sunday, Salah moved onto 11 assists for the season, one above Bukayo Saka, who suffered a hamstring injury for Arsenal on Saturday.
