Super Eagles trio of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Joe Aribo were in action as Southampton held Fulham to a goalless draw in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Iwobi, who was making his 17th appearance for Fulham, has netted five goals and bagged three assists this ongoing season.
His fellow teammate, Bassey, was making his 16th appearance and bagged five yellow cards for Fulham.
Aribo also made some positive impact before being substituted in the second half.

The first half was dominated by Fulham as the Cottagers aimed to continue their strong run of form heading into this game, but other than a series of ambitious strikes from Alex Iwobi, they failed to capitalize on their control as the halftime whistle blew with the scores still level.
Aaron Ramsdale and Southampton were able to keep the ball out of their net and secure a vital point in their first league game since Russell Martin’s dismissal.
The result means Fulham climbs one place into ninth in the table, above Brighton & Hove Albion on goal difference, while Southampton remains at the foot of the table, having accumulated a miserable six points from 17 matches this season.
