Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka’s Injury in Saturday’s Premier League tie at Crystal Palace is worrying.
Arsenal bounced back to winning ways with a comfortable 5-1 win at Palace, after theor disappointing 0-0 draw with Everton.
But the win came at a cost as Saka had to be substituted due to a hamstring injury.
“He felt something in his hamstring, he couldn’t continue, and he’ll have to be assessed. So, we’re really worried about that one,” Arteta said after the game.
On how bad it could be, Arteta said:”It’s very difficult to [say] now – they have tested him inside but very difficult to say how bad it is.”
The Spaniard also confirmed that Raheem Sterling will be out due to injury.
He added:”And Raheem as well, we lost Raheem yesterday. We don’t know for how long as well. So, to lose two players in 24 hours is not good.
“Unfortunately, with the amount of games that we are playing every three days with this schedule, it doesn’t surprise me but the team will react to that.”
