Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe celebrated winning the 2024 FIFA International Cup at the Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Wednesday, December 18, two years after losing the 2022 FIFA World Cup final at the same venue.

Recall that the Lusail Stadium hosted the FIFA World Cup final two years ago which saw Kylian Mbappe’s France national team lose to Lionel Messi’s Argentina via penalties.

During the FIFA International Cup on Wednesday, Kylian Mbappe who just recovered from an injury, showcased his exceptional talents, contributing to Real Madrid’s commanding 3-0 win over Pachuca, a Mexican professional football club, with a crucial goal.

This victory not only underscored his return to top form but also marked an emotional return to Doha, the capital of Qatar, for the first time since that fateful World Cup final on December 18, 2022, where he and his French teammates faced Argentina in a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss after a 3-3 draw.

After the one-sided international club competition, the France international took to his Instagram page to share his elation with fans, highlighting the significance of the win and the prestigious tournament.
