Oromoni architect of modern Warri South-West – Penawou

Delta State Government, Tuesday, commended the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni for initiating several impactful infrastructural projects in the Council area.

The State Commissioner, Directorate of Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Prince Kelly Penawou, gave the commendation, during inspection of ongoing projects in Ogbe-Ijoh, initiated by the Sylvester Oromoni led Warri South West Local Government Council.

The Commissioner who described Oromoni as the “architect of modern Warri South-West”, praised the chairman’s efforts, stating, ‘The chairman is very visionary, and also doing well by following the MORE agenda.

“With what I am seeing here, I am very sure His Excellency the Governor will be happy with your leadership in the Council, putting the interest of the people above other interests and I pray for good health and proper funding for him to complete these projects because he has good things in mind for his people.’

The projects inspected include a canteen for the local government secretariat, a standard jetty, and police and administrative staff quarters, all geared towards improving infrastructure and enhancing service delivery in the area.

On his part, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, who’s aligned with the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, believes that the only way for the good people of Warri South-West to understand the MORE Agenda, is to see infrastructure and human capital development projects springing up across the LGA.

“The projects when completed, will improve security operations, provide a more safe jetty for water transportation around the local government, enhance workers productivity as well as the welfare of the local government workers.

“Warri South-West should expect more projects and programs that will make our lives better,” Hon. Oromoni added.
