Finally, the military authorities on Tuesday released Pa Dennis Okugbaye, detained leader from Okuama, to Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District.
Recall that Pa Okugbaye had been held in connection with the killings in Okuama.
Contrary to earlier reports of his death in military detention, Pa Okugbaye was released on bail following Senator Dafinone’s intervention.
The Senator is expected to ensure his appearance when required.
Recall that Senator Dafinone had previously facilitated the release of the Ewu King, who had also been arrested over the same issue.
The ailing Pa Okugbaye is currently receiving treatment at a government owned hospital, where family members are attending to him.
