President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe has disclosed how the 2024 Africa’s player of the year award winner was decided.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman won the CAF men’s player of the year award in Marrakesh, Morocco on Monday.
Speaking at the award night, Motsepe said coaches of all the national teams and captains voted to decide the 2024 Africa’s player of the year award winner.
“The way the voting goes: the coaches of all of the national teams and the captains of all of the national teams; they vote. They vote for the best men player and the best women player.
“We made sure the process was done with credibility and independence,” the CAF President said.
