Former senator, who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, Senator Dino Melaye has disclosed that he did not attend Shiloh 2024 due to the absence of the former first vice president of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel Bishop David Abioye.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Shiloh, is an annual program held in December by the church founded by Bishop David Oyedepo. The program, which started on Monday ended today, Sunday, December 15 with a thanksgiving service.
Abioye, 63, retired from the church with his sendforth ceremony held at Goshen City, Abuja on Friday, October 18, 2024.
Reacting to Abioye’s absence, Dino Melaye via the micoblogging platform, X formerly Twitter, on Sunday questioned the reason why the founder, Bishop Oyedepo who’s older is not retired, but Abioye who’s younger was forcefully retired.
He wrote:”I did not attend Shiloh 2024. Because Shiloh without Bishop Abioye is somehow. I can’t understand why Bishop Oyedepo, who is older, is not retired, and it is Bishop Abioye who is younger that should be forcefully retired. God did not retire Abioye, only Oyedepo did. Let’s watch..”
