The family of Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia better known as 2Baba has petitioned the Department of State Security (DSS) over the sudden disappearance of the singer.
The singer’s family in a statement disclosed that he left home on Februry 10, without any security operatives and never came back.
They added that to compound matters, friends claim they have received messages from the singer, soliciting financial help, an act that the Idibia family finds disturbing, as according to them, Tuface is financially sufficient and has no reason to beg.
They noted that until the singer left abruptly, he was dedicated to his work and craft as he is always in the studio writing songs, but for the past few days, he has not shown up for any.
They are now calling on the state police to intervene and help find their son even though, the singer has been seen in videos shared on social media proposing to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
Following the proposal, Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia released a video asking Osawaru to “free” her son.
Below is the petition filed by the family over Tuface’s “disappearance”.
